Every Sunday is Industry night and we are hosting a jam session from 9pm onwards, and there’s never a cover charge. This legacy jam session has been serving the blues since 1947, all the way back to when the venue was known as The Blue Lamp. Dancers and musicians love the jam, which for over 25 years was run by the iconic music maestro, Ed Ivey. Ed is on a break from SF at the moment and is back home in Texas, so the very capable and popular Emma Jean Foster is hosting the show.

Under the guidance of Emma Jean, the Blues Jam has further evolved to a point where her followers are now calling it the Swig Blues & Soul Jam. Please bring your instrument and showcase your talent at the only open jam session in SF. Sign-up begins at 8 pm. If you’re looking for the liveliest spot in SF on a Sunday night, this is it!
